369 A French-manufactured 'Joy' sit-on child's scooter, featuring 14-inch wheels, handlebars with grips, saddle and wooden footboard.

370 An 1898 the 'Cooper No 4' gentleman's 'Roadster'. A rare and possibly the only known example extant from William Cooper of The Old Kent Road, London. This high specification bicycle possesses a 22-inch frame of weldless steel tubing, its original 28-inch cushion-tyred crescent rims and hubs, albeit good 28-inch Westwood's are currently fitted, inch-pitch chain and chain wheel with 6 1/2-inch cranks, rat trap pedals, plunger brake to the front wheel, narrow 15-inch handlebars with period raffia grips. A very original machine, ready to enjoy, it comes with a photocopy of a Cooper brochure.

371 A circa 1907 Rudge Whitworth boy's roadster having an 18-inch black enamelled frame, enamel headstock badge and nickel-plated handlebars, fork crown and fittings. A Rudge Whitworth pattern one-piece, cotter-less crank adjuster, 3/4-inch-pitch chain driven by a 7-inch chain wheel, centre pull stirrup brake at the front, Brooks B72 saddle, Joseph Lucas Ltd bell and grips. Formerly the property of the late Bill Bush.

372 A Rudge Whitworth gentleman's path racer having a black enamel frame, numbered 560299 (and another number indistinct), correct circular headstock badge, nickel-plated semi-drop handlebars with a short centre-pull stirrup brake fitted, fork crown, rat trap pedals and fittings. A Rudge Whitworth pattern one-piece, cotter-less crank adjuster, 3/4-inch-pitch chain driven by a 9-inch chain wheel driving a back pedalling brake. A Brooks B17 saddle is fitted together with a Joseph Lucas bell and black grips. Formerly the property of the late Bill Bush.

373 A circa 1913 Premier loop frame lady's bicycle. Painted black, the machine boasts a 24-inch frame, cottered bottom bracket, 6 1/2-inch cranks; block rubber pedals, 28-inch Westwood rims, stirrup braking, skirt-guard, leather saddle, full chain case, 17-inch handlebars and steering lock.

374 A circa 1890 J. K. Starley & Co., 'Rover' lady's Safety Bicycle. A rare survivor of the genre, indeed this machine may be the only known example extant. In the collection of the late Bill Bush for many years, this bicycle is finished in brown with yellow box lining, bright work is nickel-plated and the saddle cover is leather. The 24-inch original rims are in situ and are currently fitted with solid rubber tyring, the metal and canvas chain guard has been nicely restored, as has the skirt-guard and correctly mounted mudguards. Also featured are the correct front wheel, lever operated spoon brake, coil-spring lamp bracket and up-turned handlebars with cork grips.

375 A circa 1893 gentleman's pneumatic-tyred Safety Bicycle. With mellowed older paintwork, this sound bicycle possesses its original 27-inch rims and hubs with tangent spoking. It is currently fitted with solid tyring. Other features include ball-bearing bottom brackets, 6 1/2-inch cranks with a 6-inch chain wheel driving an inch-pitch chain, swept-down handlebars, period-looking turned grips and original style leather saddle (in need of restoration).

376 A rare circa 1910 helical tube Coventry-Premier gentleman's touring roadster having a 28-inch cross braced frame with an indistinct frame number of 18747 and retains its matching mudguards, rear rack, saddle-bag with tools, electric lighting, 8-inch chain wheel with 7-inch cranks. A centre pull rod-operated front brake is fitted and a ring mounted lever rear brake. A sound and restorable machine.
