An early 20th century gilt brass four glass battery electric mantel timepiece by Eureka Clock Co Ltd, London The signed enamelled dial with Arabic numerals, the movement numbered 9306, patent number 14614, possible date of 1906 and Made in England, in Madelaine Model Architectural case. 38 cm high. Note: In a contemporary Asprey sales catalogue, the Madelaine case is the second most expensive Eureka at £8.18.6, twice as expensive as the cheapest model.
