Note: Clare Marsh was born in New Court Bray, Co. Wicklow in 1875. She studied under Jack Butler Yeats at May Manning's Studio in 1898 and formed a lasting friendship with him, going on to teach his wife in 1917. She exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin from 1900-1921.
