Condition Report or Notes

The British firm of Lagonda was founded in 1899 by an American named Wilbur Gunn. The cars became famous in the 1920’s and 1930’s for its wide range of engines and bodies. From every angle their cars were things of beauty, offering a spirited performance combined with stamina at high speed, thus capturing the imagination of the people and were an outstanding form of transport. These iconic cars when new in the early 1930’s, thundering down much quieter roads than we have today, must have been quite a sight and sound.

The car offered here is an outstanding example of a beautiful car needing help, a chance to return the saloon to its former glory. There will be no disappointment discovering wings full of filler, what you see is what you get. This is a golden opportunity to restore this saloon body, rather than resorting to yet another replica tourer. These saloons will rise in value over the years as so few will survive. This great lady demands your serious attention today!

This barn find motorcar Lagonda is sold with a file of paperwork and history, the original jacking handle and assorted spares. It appears incredibly complete and is not as daunting a prospect as it seems.
