Willie Fulton, born in Glasgow, was trained at Edinburgh College of Art and
has lived and worked on the Island of Harris, in the Outer Hebrides since 1976.
He has exhibited widely, including the Royal Scottish Academy (RSA), The Rendezvous Gallery, The Gatehouse Gallery, The Leith Gallery, The Riverside Gallery and Queens Gallery.
Solo shows at, The Aberfeldy Gallery, The Rendezvous Gallery, An Lanntair-Stornoway, The Stenton Gallery and Woodbine Contemporary Arts.
Work also shown at Art Fairs in London, Bristol, Canterbury, Glasgow, Edinburgh, New York, Cannes.
He is an Artist Member of Paisley Art Institute.
His work is a personal evocation of the island and its unique atmosphere. From his personal understanding of its weather and changing light, from sunrise to moonrise, he creates a unique vision of the island.
