206 A LATE 19TH CENTURY ADDRESS AND PRESENTATION BOOK awarded to Walter Bailey Esq. The volume being presented by the Officers and staff of the Northern Counties Committee of Midland Railway Company on Bailey's appointment to the position of Accountant to the Midland Railway Company. Designed and illustrated by R. Carswell and Son, Belfast, the work is finely bound in gilt tooled full morocco and impressed with the monogram 'WB' to the upper board. It contains two crests, presentation inscription, list of subscribers and six watercolour views in and around Ireland. (see ill)
